Caleb Slain was recognized at age 19 for his dreamy tearjerker "The Lost & Found Shop." His first short documentary, "It Ain’t Over," premiered at SXSW, Telluride Film Festival and won Audience Awards at the Santa Cruz and Heartland film festivals. The following year, his 22-minute homage to the late Philip Seymour Hoffman was praised by TIME, NPR, Slate, EW and many more. His 2017 film "Demon" won best narrative short at the Oscar-qualifying Austin Film Festival, and he is presently producing multiple VR projects, including a collaboration with Eminem and a narrative mini-series on an unknown chapter in the life of Orson Welles.
